Watercolor Workshop with Tom Jones at Studios of Cocoa Beach

If you are a watercolor artist looking to improve your skills, join renowned artist Tom Jones at the Studios of Cocoa Beach the weekend of February 24 & 25, 2018 from 9 am to 4 pm for an exciting workshop. During this two-day workshop students will enjoy individual hands-on instruction with emphasis on developing first wash, values, textures, variety of color, edges and shapes, as well as creating the strong effect of light. Tom seeks to make his workshops fun and entertaining as well as to help students leave with fresh ideas for painting in watercolor. At the end of the workshop, students work will be critiqued and all students will receive a signed limited edition print by tom.

Tom Jones’ work can be found internationally in many private and corporate collections, including the Florida State Capital Building, Walt Disney World , Marriott Corporation, and Omni Corporation. His art has been featured in many books and on magazine covers as well as posters and brochures. The Studios is pleased to welcome Tom back to again to share his passion for art and love of nature and his ability to work with students from beginners to advanced.

Cost of the class is $160 for the two days. Materials are not included.

The Studios is a non-profit gallery and the creative hub on the Beach with a full schedule of workshops. The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30am-3:30pm, Wednesday through Saturday10:30 am -8pm, and Sunday 11 am – 4 pm.
