Event Details
You can create beautiful silver jewelry. The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach is offering a one day class on "Precious Metal Clay Jewelry.” You can choose from two dates in February; Friday February 8 or Saturday February 9. Each class is from 10am - 4pm (with a 2-hour kiln firing break)
Paula Tormey will teach the class on creating with silver clay. Jewelry pieces will be created from the clay by hand or with molds, then fired at high temperature, burning off the clay and leaving a 99.9% silver object, the purest silver there is! In addition to her beautiful creations, Paula is a well known PMC instructor, having taught all over the East Coast for 15 years, becoming certified with RIO in 2006. You can sign up for one or more classes and repeat students will work on more complex designs.
Cost of each one day class is $145 which includes all equipment and 25 grams of clay.
A $60 deposit is due on February 1, 2019. For information and registration contact Paula at 315-369-8679 or ptormey@frontiernet.net.
