The Studios of Cocoa Beach is hosting two oil painting classes in January taught by Delia Swenson. The classes are on Fridays from 7 to
8 pm. Students can choose to attend on January 13, January 27, or sign up for both days and create complementary paintings.
Delia Swenson is an accomplished painter and experienced teacher. Students ages 14 and up will learn the basics of painting wet on wet with oils on canvas. You will create a floral painting with your choice of background color painting, using professional artist brushes and paints, and take home a work of art you'll be proud to display.
Fee for the class is $55 which includes all materials. Register for class at the Studios website: www.studiosofcocoabeach.org. The Studios’ workshop room is behind the gallery at 159 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. Their gallery is open Monday to Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and Sundays 10 am to 3 pm.
