John received his BA in Fine Arts from Montclair University in New Jersey. He also studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and The Art Students League in New York City. In addition to his involvement with the Studios, John was a member of the Central Brevard Art Association for 15 years and served as one of their Art in Public Places program directors. He is currently a member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance (BCA). Regarding his work, John states, “I am currently working both en plein air and in the studio, focusing on architectural and industrial structures and their relationship to the surrounding environment. I am also exploring the simplification of these images into borderline abstraction.”
