Description
In the 1940 s the building was originally Murdock's Grocery Store with the logo "Home of Quality Food” painted on the front. That slogan remains on the front to this day. Once you enter our front door, you almost feel like you have been transported back in time. Many of our furnishings, our bar front, as well as the large ornate windows, were salvaged from the Brevard Hotel which used to stand on the nearby riverbank. We pride ourselves in a unique, southern, eclectic style menu and a laid-back atmosphere "where everyone knows your name.” We offer live entertainment Thursday through Saturday. Our front deck and the large back porch allow your choice of inside or outside dining. A fully stocked bar long with a large variety of beers and a great wine list ensure you a toe-tapping good time as you dine and listen to the music. So come on in, have a drink, munch on some fried pickles and enjoy the old southern charm. Murdock's is located in historic Cocoa Village and is open seven days a week. We offer lunch & dinner every day. Weather permitting, our huge front windows are open allowing for a great, breezy atmosphere and view. Smoking is allowed on our front deck or our big back porch which is topped with a genuine tin roof and flooring from the old bleachers at Cocoa High School. You owe it to yourself to check us out.
