Green Gables is the 128-year-old Queen Anne historic home of the Wells family, one of the generous benefactors who played a key role in the development of early Melbourne.
Event Details
Currently Green Gables needs our community members to embrace the nonprofit’s vision for this architecture, family legacy, and community history. Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village, Inc. has established a plan to rehabilitate and restore the home under the Dept. of Interior’s rules for historic properties. This will be an ambitious endeavor, so we will need the community’s donations to be successful.
