Description
The goal is to teach children ages 4 - 9, to recognize a gun as something to be avoided and NEVER touched.
Event Details
The children will learn what to do if they encounter a gun - Stop, Don't Touch, Run Away, and Tell a Grown-up. We will talk about firearms and watch age appropriate animated videos, in addition to coloring and story telling. This class is designed to educate children from pre-school age through 4th grade. No firearms are involved in the teaching of this class.
Class time 20-30 minutes.
All "graduates" will receive a DIPLOMA and a certificate for a free slice of PIZZA and a SODA at "PIZZA VOLA!"

Nothing replaces responsible gun ownership and securing of one's firearms so it is never accessible persons who are not authorized to handle it. In the rare occasion where a child encounters an unattended firearm this education may very well prevent a regrettable tragedy.
